Yesterday was the Christmas celebration for all the Church employees and it was fabulous! Daniel conducted the meeting. We were seated at the stand and could see everyone who came. I never realized how big that place is and how much room we need to accommodate everyone who came.
The only place where we could hold such a gathering was the MTC and it worked. They never had it there before because you have to ask special permission but who ever is in charge let us have it there. This year the first presidency gave us a beautiful leather bound copy of the Holy Bible as a gift and this is what the dedication read:
Dear Associate:
We are pleased to present you with this Holy Bible. We hope that as you study the life and ministry of our Savior, Jesus Christ, as well as the ministries of the Old Testament prophets, you will be inspired to draw closer to our Father in Heaven and His Beloved Son.
The Apostle Paul said, "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope" (Romans: 15:4) In the Bible, we find powerful testimonies of the Savior and Inspiring examples of disciples who dedicated their lives to His service. Testimonies an examples that can strengthen us today.
We extend our sincere gratitude for all that you do to assist in this great work. May the Savior's love and peace be with you and your loved ones this Christmas season and throughout the coming year.
