Smart is his middle name.
My son in law, Spencer Morrison,
works for Leavitt Partners (founded by former HHS Secretary Michael Leavitt,
also the former Governor of Utah). Leavitt Partners has formed a group
called Health Intelligence Partners, which is a collaborative panel of thought
leaders from all walks of the healthcare spectrum, brought together to discuss
important issues in healthcare today as well as future trends and ideas for
solutions to the incredibly complex problems we face.
I understand Spencer meets with
leaders from health insurance companies, medical providers, technology
companies, and government leaders. It is comforting and great to know
they even exist. They hold regular
meetings as a small group enough to keep a controlled discussion, but big
enough to have good representation from the different sectors of the industry.
It is fabulous to think of the experience my
son in law must be having to sit in the room with a group of people who were
strong and independent, and who had diverse backgrounds and completely unique
perspectives on healthcare, so I hope he continues his studies and growth in
his field of expertise because he is so smart but most of all, I hope he is
smart enough to understand those things of the spirit. I love my son in law Spencer
and pray for him to be as smart with life as he is with numbers.
Con amor,
Vero
