Bishop Waddell's bio

Today is Bishop Waddell's last day in the Philippines so I took him to the pearl market so he could buy his wife a set of pink pearls and you could see the stares by people as he walked by because he is so tall. He used to play volley ball so here is his Bio.

Bishop Waddell had served as a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since April 2011.

Wayne Christopher Waddell was born in Los Angeles, California, on June 28, 1959. He married Carol Stansel in July 1984. They are the parents of four children and have three grandchildren. Elder and Sister Waddell were residing in Lima, Peru, where he served as a counselor in the South America Northwest Area presidency when he received the call.

Bishop Waddell received a bachelor’s degree in 1984 from San Diego State University. Beginning in 1984 he worked with Merrill Lynch in several positions, including first vice president of investments.
Bishop Waddell has served in numerous Church callings, including as a full-time missionary in Spain, and is fluent in Spanish.

So the fact that he speaks Spanish is one thing we have in common.
