Kevin and Ana got hitched!

Yay, another wedding in our family. This time is tia Norma and tio Franklins grandson. Jeanny’s son Kevin. He went on a mission to Costa Rica and has lived there ever since. What I am very impressed about Kevin is that he had not had an easy life but he got the important things under control. His love for the gospel and his desire to be a good person and to improve his life. He is a true example that there should be no excuses to follow your dreams.

A wish I could snap my fingers and be transported to the other side of the world like magic but all I can do is be there in spirit.  I couldn’t be there in person to attend this young couples wedding but I do wish them the best this life has to offer.  I quote I love came to mind when I saw their picture of their wedding. This quote came from a talk given a few years ago which says:

“Have the determination to make the effort, the single-mindedness to work toward a worthy goal, and the courage not only to face the challenges that inevitably come but also to make a second effort, should such be required.” –Thomas S. Monson

That is a quote that was given in a talk about the ABC’s of having an abundant life. He tells us to have a good Attitude; Believe in ourselves, and have the Courage to face challenges and to get back up when we stumble and try again. When I think of a new marriage starting, these are the three things that comes to mind.

Have a good attitude. Be happy with each other!  Believe in yourself. You can do it! And by all means, get back up if you stumble!

Don’t ever say: “just isn’t meant to be” You need to remember this day and how much in love you were if that thought ever crosses your mind. You are not meant to give up, but to make a second effort. And we need to have the courage to actually do that. “Whatever you do, you need courage.

Have determination, work hard, and have the courage to face the challenges you will face and then be wise enough to consider making a second effort…it might just be the smartest thing you ever do. It takes courage to get married so young and I commend you for that!

Cheers to a forever lasting happy life!

Con amor,
Vero
