I was listening to a podcast on All In with an interview of Mary Osmond. When she was a little girl, her mom told her that she could gain a testimony of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon for herself. The witness she received in answer to her prayers has carried her in the 50 years since.
She has spent her life in the spotlight and it has not been a life without challenges or mistakes, but Marie has stood by her faith again and again. On today’s episode of All In: An LDS Living Podcast, Marie reveals how her faith, a knowledge of the Atonement of Christ, temple attendance, and an understanding of eternal families has carried her throughout her life. This weekend I will be watching our #GeneralConference so I won't be posting tomorrow. I'll be watching/ listening over the next two days the messages given to find God's love, peace and hope during these difficult and challenges times. What I remember is that her husband Steve went on a mission to El Salvador. I wonder what memories has he shared with her of his mission?
