I imagine you have heard of October Fest before but I went to a Candy Fest annual party hosted by the office and the theme this year was, candy! The kids were to come dress in bright colors like wrapd candy. There were many booths for them to get candy, cookies, etc. including one with ice-cream. There was a photo booth too.
Daniel was not there for the opening so they asked me to kick off the event! After I spoke, we had the Dentists talk about teeth and how they can take good care of their teeth. They gave each child a tooth brush and tooth paste. We also had the other doc. talk about eating healthy. It was amazing to see all those kids there. Hundreds of them and to think that we had enough candy to give to all of them was truly surreal.
Next year instead of just using half of the parking, they would need to use all of the parking downstairs and maybe even bring some clowns to entertain them. Over all it was so fun! I had a treat that said: "Since this is the time for ghosts and cats, halloween spirits and goblins and bats, weird happenings and witches brew, these are the things I wish for you...May the only ghost who comes to stay be the Holy Ghost to guide your way. May the only spirits you chance to meet be the spirits of love and friendship sweet. These are my halloween wishes for you. May God bless you in everything you do!"
