Yesterday evening was the annual big event the people of Public Affairs for the Church puts out each year to acknowledge someone in the Community who has done something good for the benefit of the Family.
The Area Presidency and us went together to this event. It is the only time I wear my black dress and get many pictures taken. It is almost a given that we would be sitting with important VIP in the community.
Tonight we sat by the construction company who build our temple in Cebu and who also built The Podium mall and we also sat by two very wealthy women who own Malls in Cebu. The only disappointing thing is that the guest of honor didn't bother to show up.
It was over all a very enjoyable evening.
