Living in Your True Identity

Thoughts on 114 days of quarantine.

Today I gave a zoom class for the sisters in the Relief Society where my sister Liz attends in El Salvador. I loved all the things I am learning and love to share them with anyone who is interested.

Taking Brooke's course gave me the needed tools to  increase mindfulness in the everyday routine of life. It has helped me to pause and reflect how I feel in certain situations, specially stressful ones and it has allowed me to consider how to respond rather than doing so out of impulse.

Brooke Snow wrote the book "Living in Your True Identity" available on amazon. Description of the book: "Ready to find the true you? You won't have to look far. Beneath the layers of society's expectations, the roles you fill, and the messages you've been told, you'll find your whole, perfect, and worthy self. This empowering book is filled with exercises and actions you can take today to begin experiencing more of your life in the best way ever--as you!"

In Booke Snow's "Christian Meditation" 40 day challenge course, you will learn to do the following:

To speak in a way that is kind, honest and helpful.
When to speak and when to stay quiet.
How to focus on one thing at a time.
How to stay engaged when listening.
How to speak, consciously, clearly and concisely without anxiety.
The practice of responding instead of reacting.
To express yourself in a manner that others can hear you.
To express yourself in a manner that is beneficial to you.
The best way to avoid potential disasters before they become meltdowns.
How to be comfortable in silence. No longer the need of noise.

Brooke also has a podcast "Floors and Ceilings" on Apple Podcasts.
Take a listen. It works!

Con amor,
Vero
