Best Quote Ever!

Thoughts on 122 days of quarantine.

BEST QUOTE EVER!

I came across a quote today that seriously is one of the most inspiring quotes I have ever read. I want to include this one in the ABC book I am writing to give to Sariah.

“Believe in yourself. Believe in your capacity to do great and good things. Believe that no mountain is so high that you cannot climb it. Believe that no storm is so great that you cannot weather it. You are not destined to be a scrub. You are a child of God, of infinite capacity.  Believe that you can do it whatever it is that you set your heart on. Opportunities will unfold and open before you. The skies will clear when they have been dark with portent…He who is our Eternal Father has blessed you with miraculous powers of mind and body. He never intended that you should be less than the crowning glory of His creations.”  Gordon B. Hinckley

Oh my goodness, those are powerful words. I just love everything about it. I am going to print that quote and keep it somewhere where I will see it every single day! With a reminder like that, I hope I can do many things in a better way.

We have been reading in Alma about some very special people, the Anti-Nephi-Lehies who understood who they were and acted upon it by burring their weapons. What an important reminder for us today.

I think in life we sometimes aim too low because we have forgotten that we have infinite capacity to do things far beyond what we can even begin to imagine we could do.

Sometimes we just need a really powerful reminder of exactly who we are and the limitless potential we hold inside of us. We have the capacity to do anything we set our hearts on – all we need is to be reminded that we can literally handle anything that life puts in our way. We just need to have faith and believe!

Con amor,

Vero
