Taytay

Today we attended the Taytay 2nd ward. Tastay is a town in the Philippines famous for its inexpensive shops. I heard is where people go get fabric for cents to a yard and even already made clothes that are very affordable. If today was not Sunday, I would have stopped to buy things but we were only there to visit a stake center.

This building is very beautiful and huge. I couldn't believe how nice it was from the insides as well as from the outside. Many of our buildings are bigger than most but this one is gigantic. Even the bathrooms were big with many stalls like if we were at a large mall and the thing that impressed me the most in this particular budding is that people were cleaning up their area after themselves. The first thing you see when you walk into the bathroom was a mop and ladies are constantly cleaning. Very impressive!

There is a sister who had been moping all the floors before we went to the meetings so we thanked her and she told us that she loves to clean because she loves how beautiful our chapels looks. They clean before the other ward starts their meetings.

We attended this meeting, took a few pictures with some of the members and the missionaries and went back home. We were so tired because we had stayed up late the night before celebrating Father's Day that we came home and went right to be to take a nap.

Con amor,
Vero
