At the MTC for New Years

There is a first for everything and yesterday we volunteered for the first time to spend our New Year evening from 6:30 to 9:00 pm to be with all the missionaries at the MTC for an activity. It was so fun! President Carlos and his wife had us for dinner which was so nice. They had prepared 8 activities and 16 groups to rotate every 10 to 15 minutes. Each group had two teams.

We did the same thing 8 times. Our activity was about getting all the negativism out and to protect us from its bad influence. The groups were to wrapt up one of the missionaries with toilet paper and the one who was covered the most won more points.

As the end, all points were added and there were prizes for the winners. It was a memorable New Years even when we didn't do much afterwards. We were tired and only stayed until it was midnight and got out our sparkling juice, made our traditional toast and ate the 12 grapes wishing with each grape a simple wish. Hopefully, they all will come true!

Con amor,
Vero
