Farewell to the two sisters

Tonight we invited sister Jones and sister Chadderdon to dinner who have been serving in P.E.F.   They are two amazing sisters who came to serve for two years in the Philippines. They are both widows and wanted to do something with their time and we were so blessed to have them. They will be sorely missed!

We spend around three hours enjoying a meal Daniel and I prepared for them and visiting. I can only imagine how excited their family must be to know they are coming back home. These two sisters are such a delight to have around.

I have always admire all the wonderful missionaries throughout the world because for the most part, they are so dedicated to their call and they give it their all! We have always told our children that if they were to ever get involved in doing something whether they were getting paid or not o put in 100% and to not ever do things half way.

I read somewhere that the average person only puts 25% of energy to do their work. Not these sweet missionaries. For the past two years they have devoted all their time and energy to serve the PEF participants and have done an amazing job. I imagine how pleased they must feel knowing that they were able to accomplish everything they set out to do with the time they were given to serve.

There is a great satisfaction that comes from knowing you are not wasting a single moment of the time Heavenly Father has granted you on this earth. As a token of thank you I gave them my most precious gift. Bianca's CD so that they would take with them a part of me.

Con amor,
Vero
