Three year anniversary

Today going back three years was  Mandy's and Spencer's wedding and what a beautiful day that was. The sealing was beautiful, the setting at the Morrison's residence where Mandy and Spencer had a ring ceremony was breath taking and the dancing afterwards was amazing! The only regret not doing was actually getting to know the photographer to tell her to take those pictures of the people who were there. One photo we neglected to take was one of Shirley and Mandy. She passed away six months later. Another picture we forgot was one with all the Almeida children. I always wanted a picture of Daniel with all the kids and this was probably one of the rare times that Gabriel could join us. there is never going to be a photo with all of 36 of us but at least of the children should be taken every now and then.

Mandy is going to have many anniversaries but one thing I hope she remembers to do is to make a huge effort to make it extra special. We never did that. All we ever did was go to the fair grounds because it so happens that every September the Salt Lake county fair is going on and that was what we did year after year.

No you Mandy, you do fun things and truly celebrate big! These are some ideas:

Check out local venues and find out what up and coming concert or bands are playing. Nothing sends love waves out like an intimate table for two while a performer sing to you and your hubby.And make sure you have some chocolate covered strawberries to snack while you enjoy the concert.

How about a spa date! like my mother would say, what could be more perfect than  booking a couples massage at a local spa for an anniversary present with a pedicure included it's the perfect way to relax and unwind.

Go for a nice ride, whether is a carriage ride, horse back ride, train ride or even a boat ride. I would even venture into a hot air balloon ride.

Make him his special dinner or go to a fancy restaurant on us!
