25 things to treat yourself better

The following are some ideas about treating yourself better I found on a Facebook post. 

1. Eat without guilt.
2. Accept a compliment by saying thank you.
3. Give compliments when you see something noteworthy.
4. Be kinder and gentler to yourself.
5. Be kinder and gentle to others.
6. Within your means, buy yourself a special gift.
7. Say no when something feels more exhausting than pleasant.
8. When feeling exhausted, Take a 20 minute power nap.
9. dance or sing, let loose.
10. Cry, give permission to release frustration.
11. Be your normal self.
12. Take pride. Choose your clothes, words, and people around you.
13. Don't take anything personal.
14. Make your home a piece of heaven on earth. Keep it clean.
15. Make your bedroom a sacred place for intimacy, recharge, sleep, etc. 
16. Go to the countryside or the city for a chance of atmosphere. 
17. Say what you mean and mean what you say.
18, Don't let anyone tell you how and what to feel, that's for you to decide.
19. Let your intuition guide you.
20. Take up a new hobby, interest, skill, talent or ability.
21. Be comfortable with who you are: Both, imperfections and attributes.
22. You are a child of God. Remember that you deserve to be here on earth.
23. Respect your limits. When full, stop eating; when tired, rest, etc.
24. Become your own best friend spending time with yourself .
25. Allow yourself at least one simple pleasure a day. 

We tend to be hard on ourselves so this is a good reminder.
